TOP 10 TECHNOLOGIES THAT WE WILL ACHIEVE BY 2030

From driverless cars to robotic workers, the future is going to be here before you know it. Many emerging technologies you hear about today will reach a tipping point by 2025, according to a report from The World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Future of Software & Society.

The council surveyed more than 800 executives and experts from the technology sector to share their respective timelines for when technologies would become mainstream.

From the survey results, the council identified 21 defining moments, all of which they predict will occur by 2030.

Here’s a look at the technological shifts you can expect during the next 10 years.

1. Artificial intelligence

The use of artificial intelligence tools is increasingly evident in many areas. Reliability in the decision-making of the machines moves to the point where, in the future, machines can have a "vote" on the boards of large companies.

The inputs given by the systems will be increasingly relevant in decision making, since the assertiveness tends to be greater.

2. Stand-alone cars will account for 10% of the US fleet

Testing for self-drive cars in the United States is in an advanced stage, and the demand for them is not greater because of the legislation, which still does not allow traffic in many circumstances. It is only a matter of time before this is resolved.

By 2026, it is estimated that 10% of the US fleet is from autonomous vehicles, which should represent greater safety and less emission of pollutants.

3. Up to 5% of products will be printed on 3D printers

The use of three-dimensional printers did not grow as expected with the end consumer, but the industry adopted this idea as a simple and quick way to introduce new products into the market.

Research indicates that by 2030 at least 5% of the manufactured products will be printed from 3D printers. It is a technology whose costs fall every year while the possibilities of use only increase.

4. It is estimated that 50% of internet traffic will come from automated devices

The number of items that are connected inside the residences is increasing. TVs, refrigerators, microwaves, and everything else you imagine may be connected to the internet being controlled by your cell phone.

The resulting traffic flow of these devices should grow exponentially and represent up to 50% of the information flow in the next decade.

5. Printed bodies in 3D will come true by 2024

The medical segment is one of the most attracting attention of major manufacturers at the moment. In this area the development has been expressive in recent years and there are no signs that the breath is in the end.

By 2024, organ creation using special 3D printers should come true. The impression of bones and even of a liver are expected to occur in the next six years.

6. You'll have a supercomputer in your pocket in 2023

The processing power of a smartphone today is often higher than the computers that were responsible for bringing Man to the Moon. The power of the devices we have in our pocket is already equivalent to that of many desktops and notebooks.

If everything continues at the same pace, by mid-2023 at least 90% of the population will have at hand a device with processing power equivalent to that of a 2018 supercomputer.

7. About 80% of the world's population will be present on the internet

The internet will be even more present in the lives of more people. It is estimated that 80% of the world's population - which will represent 6.4 billion people in 2024 - will have a digital identity.

This means not only access to the internet, but the use of social networks and other services that can give "authenticity" to a digital life.

8. Even the reading glasses will be connected

Yes, that's right. Do you know the glasses you use at the time you're going to read it? For the estimate is that 10% of them are connected to the internet by 2023. Among the features that these accessories will bring, we can cite experiences of virtual reality and augmented reality like some of them.

In addition, using visual tracking tools you can flip pages without using your hands.

9. Smartphones can be deployed in the body

It may seem strange at first glance, but the so-called "bionic men" already exist there. They are people who use smart prostheses or who have chips in the body capable of sending and receiving relevant information about the patient's health.

Do not think of implantable smartphones as a huge cell phone attached to your arm, but rather as small chips that can easily integrate with other devices.

10. At least 10% of people will wear smart clothes by 2022

Is it really that things are going to change that much in the next five years? Experts believe that within that period at least 10% of the world population will have some clothing that comes with a chip. This chip can be used to transmit the most diverse types of information via internet and you can access.

In 2030, a number of technology breakthroughs and trends will become available to the public,
